Ballet Blanc is a new breeding program, based on, and to be a continuation of, the country’s finest and oldest bloodlines.

We are immeasurably indebted to the generosity of our mentors, Larry and Angela Stanberry of Divine Maltese. They have provided us with all of our outstanding show puppies, and these fine Divine dogs are now our gorgeous resident champions and foundation stock.

Our very first Divine show puppy, acquired in 2000, far exceeded our hopes and dreams. That was Divine’s Indecent Southern Gentleman, “Ashley.” Thank you, Angie and Larry, for giving us an extraordinary start in the very competitive world of Maltese show dogs, and for your continued mentoring and support.

Our program is small, and highly select. Our goals are threefold: soundness, temperament and beauty.

Our show prospects were selected based on both their star-studded line-bred ancestry and their individual qualities. They possess great beauty, elegant movement, and sweet temperaments, and are of sound health.

They have fabulous coats and showy attitudes which make them a standout in the ring. These Divine Maltese puppies fulfilled all our dreams, performing beautifully in the ring, achieving their titles quickly, and are now beginning to produce stunning offspring of their own, destined to be the first winning generation of fine Ballet Blanc Maltese.

Soundness, Temperament and Beauty

Our emphasis will remain first on soundness: good bone structure and sound health. Structural balance and good muscle development for vitality and fluidity will generate the elegant movement we are seeking for our little “dancers.”

Second, we want to retain in our breeding program the extraordinary temperament displayed by dogs like Ashley and Giselle: their especially sweet demeanor and regal dignity that further enhances the always gentle nature of the Maltese.

Third, and certainly not least, we will select for beauty. Generation after generation the bloodlines behind our dogs have produced heads of exceptional beauty, radiant silk coats, and perfectly balanced outlines true to the Maltese type.

We will continue to add to our program the finest Maltese available that we feel will be compatible with the Divine/Marcris/Pashes bloodlines. We will seek young show prospect puppies that will become future champions, and outstanding sires and dams at Ballet Blanc.
